Adam’s our newest Ambassador, as ultra rider he’s going to bring another layer to the team. Based
in heart of Essex North West, Adam has a variety of rides that he can access, so keep your eyes peeled for the meet ups.
- what’s your current teaching position/subject:
Assistant head teacher for behaviour and attendance at an SEMH school
- what’s your current focus in education?
Developing the behaviour policy in line with the thrive model
- how does riding help you?
Always been positive for my mental health. A place where I’m not a teacher,father or husband especially bikepacking. Where the focus is on the next resupply, sleep spot really engaging with the landscape on the bike.
- why did you apply to be an ambassador/what would you like to do as an ambassador?
I would like to grow the workout Wednesday that mid week release from teaching life. Growing the indoor TCC community
- what do you think is special about TCC?
It’s a community of educators embracing a shared passion in a supportive environment
- what are your current bike(s) and dream bike:
Stanton Sherpa is my bikepacking rig.
Mondraker foxy carbon is my FS rig.

Cotic cascade on the cards this season for bikepacking and it’s events
- what’s your best cycling achievement or memory?
Personal was completing a mountain ultra headstock 200 with 18 hrs still on the clock 🙌🙌🙌
School being the first person to lead SEMH students across the South Downs way.
- what’s your best teaching achievement or memory?
Get a maths GCSE for a student who we were told when he joined us would never get any qualifications
- do you have a golden tip for teaching and/or cycling?
Cycling tip just concentrate on the ride don’t focus on the data
